Logan Enhancement Project

Silverstrand were engaged on this project to undertake the construction of multiple new bridges, cut and cover tunnel structures, bridge widening works and various other civil and concrete works as part of the of $512 million Logan Enhancement Project being undertaken by CPB Contractors for Transurban.

Silverstrand’s provided a skilled team for the project consisting of a site-based project management team, form workers, concreters, steel fixers, scaffolders, crane operators, riggers & dog men to complete all works in accordance with the relevant Codes of Practices, DTMR, CPB and Transurban specifications.

• Construction of 2 new 70m long x 15m wide x 7m high multi-span super t bridges over the Logan Motorway at Wembley Rd;
• Construction of 1 new 56m long x 13m wide x 6m high multi-span super t bridge at the Gateway/Compton Rd Off Ramp;
• Construction of 1 x 55m long x 12m wide x 7.5m high cut and cover tunnel structure;
• Construction of 1 x 50m long x 10m wide x 7.5m high cut and cover tunnel structure;
• Widening of existing Eastbound and Westbound Compton Rd Bridges over the Gateway Motorway (2 span x 51m long x 7.5m high PSC deck bridge);
• PUP Protection works for existing DN1200 water main;
• Construction of tolling and sign gantry footings;
• Installation of pre-fabricated reinforcement cages and placement of concrete to piles;
• Construction of shared user paths;
• Construction of roadside special performance concrete barriers;
• Construction of barrier end treatments, transitions and infill works;
• Supply of all craneage;
• Supply of all concrete pumping.
